Phillips Oval Head Machine Screws are screws with a machine thread for a tapped hole or to accept a nut.  Oval head machine screws have countersunk head to be able to sit within a 82 degree tapered hole and maintain a finish round look on top.  Oval Head screws are used in decorative applications.  Made of 18-8 Stainless Steel (18% Chromium, 8 % Nickel).  For use in marine corrosive environments. To measure the length of a oval head screw measure from the wide part of the head to the bottom of the threads.
