Undercut Phillips Flat Head Type F Screws have a machine screw thread with a blunt point.  There is a cutter on the end of the screw that allows the screw to self-tap itself into a pre-drilled hole.  Made of 18-8 Stainless Steel.  For use in heavy gauge sheet metal and softer alloys. The undercut aloys the screws to sit flush in a thin piece of material such has a hinge.  To measure the length of a flat head screw measure from the flat part of the head to the bottom of the threads.
